What: Learn racing skills before you race!
Where: Hagg Lake in Gaston, OR, just an hour from
Portland. Right at the start of the Banana
Belt race series.
Get there! Directions to the entrance to Hagg Lake Park
When: February
28, March 7 & 14
Women: 8:20 a.m.
Men: 11:50 a.m.
(1 hr before the Women Category 4 and Men Category 5
race. Register for the race, then come to the clinic!)

Whether you are
a very first time racer or a rider with a few races under your belt,
this clinic will cover the basics for you to have a competitive and enjoyable
race experience. We'll cover group riding skills and etiquette as
well as practice some cornering and pace-line riding if time allows.
We'll answer your questions and give you some tips. Bring a friend
and give it a try!
We'll meet
close to the registration area at 8:20 for women and 11:50 for men.

registration.

What equipment do I need to
participate?: You simply need a working bike, a
helmet and comfortable clothing to ride in. If you plan to
race you'll need a drop-bar road bike, a helmet, riding shoes with pedals
that clip in or bind, riding shorts, a jersey, and a racing license.
