endurance events and citizen racers. By working on a customized

endurance events. With Team in Training and Wenzel Coaching he has
trained cyclists for events including the Markleeville Deathride,
the Leadville 100, the 24-Hours of Moab, and numerous other
centuries. Roger’s clients go to these events prepared and ready to
enjoy the event and their event-day success. Well over 90% of his
riders complete their target event.
“Performance
counts but to achieve your potential you have to enjoy the bike. We
all choose cycling because we enjoy the time spent riding, training
should enhance the rider’s relationship with the sport and with
their body. I want to see my clients compete well, achieve ever
better results and do so with the grace that comes from enjoying
what you are doing.”

"I have had Roger helping me the last two years
with Leadville. I can't say enough about him. So far as I am
concerned I know him personally, even though we just correspond over
the phone. He is that kind of person. He really cares about you....
May 31st I had a bike wreck and broke my neck. To make a long story
short, I told Roger I still wanted to ride at Leadville. I had
family that were going go watch me. Roger hung with me, giving me
the encouragement and great training advice that got me there. I
even was bitten by a dog about three weeks before the race. Had
stitches, but I sure didn't let a dog bite slow me down. Made it to
Leadville and had one of the greatest times I have ever had,
finished in 11:58:02. I can't thank Roger enough. He was a great
friend and coach all the way." ~Hal R.
“I really wanted to thank you for all of the awesome coaching advice
that you passed on to me during the recent training season. I
was completely impressed by the wealth of cycling information that you
have and your ability to convey it to all levels. Your
enthusiasm and passion for the sport was inspiring to see. After
years of involvement in high level competitive sports, it has been
refreshing to work with someone who cares so much and is willing to
share his cycling others with so many others."

me. He really understands how to fit my training to match my crazy
work schedule. Trust me, that is not an easy task. It's obvious he
has years of experience doing it! ~Amy
