The Details:

This class is for riders seeking to increase their knowledge, technique and confidence on a mountain bike. The workshop will be tailored at the introductory level.

If you are…

    • New to off-road riding;
    • Keen to explore the elements of mountain-biking;
    • Dirt-curious, perhaps thinking of joining a group ride, or entering a race for the first time…

then this clinic is for you.

Paul will explain and demonstrate the fundamentals, and there’ll be ample practice of the basic skills, setting the tone for relaxed enjoyment on the bike. There’ll be no gnarly, big air or white-knuckle stuff in this workshop. The aim is to get you relaxed on the bike, with enough grasp of the basic ideas and techniques that you can go off and ride safely and build up your confidence. With the group limited to six participants, there will be plenty of individual attention and time for questions and reflections.
