1. How do the training programs work?

Each rider receives a monthly written training program along with 45 to 90 minutes of phone consultation (depending on the program they choose). Weekly or bi-weekly contact with the coach is an integral part of the program. See the program descriptions for more detailed information on each program.

  2. How much does a training program cost?

Our average program price is about $80 for a monthly program. Certain discounts apply for groups and affiliated clubs. The price of monthly programs drops considerably after one year on the program.

  3. Will I be working with a coach individually?

Most riders develop a working relationship with one coach, although each rider has can contact any of our coaches at any time in our supportive environment.

  4. How much contact will I have with the coach?

Contact with the coach is directed by your own motivation to ask questions and keep in touch with feedback about how the training is going or with scheduled weekly appointments. Each client receives a minimum of 45 minutes included with their monthly program. (Custom programs include more time) Extra time is billed at $60 per hour, prorated for actual minutes used. (It is rare that anyone goes over the time included for their particular program.)

  5. Is this strictly "internet coaching?"

No. We work hard to make Wenzel Coaching programs as personable as possible. The coach / rider relationship can work strictly over the net, but we prefer to also use the phone (and face to face contact when possible) unless the rider prefers email.

  6. Can I receive my program over the internet?

Programs can be emailed each month as an attachment if desired. Most programs are mailed by first class mail to arrive before the first of the month.

  7. Where is Wenzel Coaching located?

The main Wenzel Coaching offce is based out of McKenzie Bridge, Oregon (near Eugene). We also have coaches in the Bay Area in California; Long Beach, CA, Cumberland, Maine, St. George, UT, and Redding, CA. We coach riders from all over the United States and beyond. 8. Does Wenzel Coaching offer more than training programs?

René, Kendra and Scott and all assistant coaches are available for individual and club coaching sessions, camps, clinics, and seminars. Contact us if you would like us to direct a camp or clinic for your club or team or to find out if we have any camps in the works.

  9. Does Wenzel Coaching sponsor any riders?
