Cross Country Ski Programs
Wenzel Coaching Cross Country Ski programs can be used
for skaters, diagonal striders, or skiers who will combine both
styles. Programs can be set up for any target race distance. XC Ski
training plans include endurance training, interval training, racing
as training, and specific skill training including work on the various
strides, climbing, descending, and cornering, in addition to other
exercises. The off-season program also includes optional roller
skiing, other dry-land training and weight training and allows for
cross training, including biking and running in addition to other
cross training arranged by you and your coach. Because XC Skiing
success is very dependent on skills and form as well as fitness, our
clients are encouraged to work with a ski instructor as well as a
coach.

racing, and includes base training, building intensity through
