ACHIEVE YOUR POTENTIAL WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK...

The Individual program is a racing program based on your racing category, previous racing and training experience, racing region, anaerobic threshold, maximum heart rate, current fitness level, age, sex, height/weight ratio, and rider feedback, among other measures.

The program combines road training including endurance rides, interval training, racing as training and specific skill training, including climbing, sprinting, spinning and big gear training in addition to other exercises. The program also includes weight training and allows for cross training, including mountain biking and cyclocross in addition to other cross training arranged by you and your coach.

Each monthly program outlines daily the workouts suggested for you to achieve your potential as a racer. Each month's program contains a calendar of exercises and descriptions of workouts utilized for that training period. A written introduction prefaces the concepts and focuses for that that month. The introduction also contains tips, reminders, and answers to frequently asked questions.

For those on a budget but who would still like a Custom program, the Individual program can be combined with the Peak Road program (a one month Full Custom program) for a planned peak in an event that you choose. In this way, you can follow the Individual program most of the year, and then purchase a Custom program for only the month or months leading up to your most important events.

Included as part of the Wenzel Coaching program is a monthly newsletter illustrating skills in real life race situations, critiquing and explaining race strategy, providing advice for how to handle sickness and injury, and laying out schedules for best reaching or meeting with each coach in the upcoming month.

All Individual programs include 45 minutes per month of phone consultation time with your Wenzel Coach to answer any questions, discuss upcoming or recently completed races, and to help personalize the schedule to their individual needs. Consultation time is one of the most valuable components of this program and all riders are encouraged to take advantage of it. Additional minutes beyond the original 45 will be billed at the One on One consulting rate. (In our experience, very few riders exceed the 45 minutes each month.)

Programs are mailed and billed separately each month by US mail. (Programs by email can be arranged depending on your word processing program.) Programs are available for all levels of racers.
